Nigerian writer Tosin Silverdam disappointed over Adesua Etomi’s Vogue cover appearance

- A Nigerian writer has taken to social media to condemn actress Adesua Etomi's Vogue cover

- According to the young man identified as Tosin Silverdam, the actress looks like a slave for the other ladies on the cover

- He went on to question what they did to her skin and why she was regarded as one of the biggest actresses in Nollywood

Earlier on, Legit.ng reported the news of how Nollywood belle, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, was recognized among 14 other talented actresses in the world by renowned high fashion publishing house, Vogue Magazine. While many people were excited about this, a Nigerian writer had some not-so-nice things to say.

A Nigerian writer and blogger, identified as Tosin Silver, took to social media to express his utter disappointment at the actress's Vogue cover. According to him, she looked inferior and more like a slave to the other three actresses on the cover. He stated that this is probably the reason the feat wasn't widely celebrated on the internet.

He wrote: "Honestly, I am not surprised this @adesuaetomi’s vogue magazine cover didn’t the break the internet. Although, this is a great feat and deserve somewhat celebration but sincerely speaking, this cover is quite disappointing. I’m not a hater, she looks like a slave on this cover.

"She looks so inferior compared to the other ladies on the cover, what did they do to her skin tone? She looks so bad and almost unrecognizable, when I first saw the cover, I didn’t even know she’s the one. @adesuaetomi is extremely beautiful but then again, she looks so odd and more like a slave to the other girls. She should have complained about the cover, this is not impressive at all. No wonder it didn’t break the internet.

"Anyway, some argued she doesn’t deserve this space, oh well, also the magazine regarded her as one of the biggest actresses in Africa. Seriously? Well, the likes of @genevievennaji, @realomosexy @ritadominic or even @funkejenifaakindele are veterans and they are too big for this type of cover, especially sharing space with other actresses. I would be disappointed if any of these big actresses accept this offer. But come to think of it, if @genevievennaji is actually on this cover, d*mn those melanin will be popping out gracefully."

While Silverdam seems to have a problem with the international cover of the actress, her husband, Banky W can't help but celebrate her wonderful feat.

Announcing that his wife graced the cover of vogue, he asked his fans if they have seen the photo of his precious wife on an international magazine. He also insinuated that he was super proud of this moment. Not only is Adesua doing her country proud, she is also making her husband one of the luckiest man on the planet.
