Tragedy as final year student dies in Sokoto auto crash (ID card)

Tragedy struck in Dange Shuni local government area of Sokoto state on Sunday, March 17, as a final year student of Computer Science named Munirah Adamu, lost her life at about 4.30pm in an auto crash on her way back to school from Zamfara state.

The news of the tragic incident was shared on Twitter by @Ibrahim_Bello who also attached the school identity card of the deceased.

As at the time of filing of the report, it is not clear if Munirah’s family members are aware of the accident and her death.

Curbing road accidents has been one of the major challenges facing the Nigerian government. Few weeks ago, the family of a young lady identified as Kemi Adeniran was thrown into mourning following her sudden death.

Kemi Adeniran, a microbiology graduate of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) also lost her life in a road accident.

According to reports, Adeniran who was serving in Ibadan, Oyo state, died on February 1, after she got involved in a motorcycle accident.
