- Manchester United are currently in talks with David De Gea for him to sign a new deal
Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid are now reportedly planning for the signing of Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea after the return of manager Zinedine Zidane.
Zinedine Zidane is said to be an admirer of the Spanish goalkeeper and he is part of his targets this summer towards rebuilding the club.
Real Madrid are said to have promised Zidane a mountain of cash in the summer to back up the Frenchman’s plans to revitalize Los Blancos.
And according to the latest report on UK Mirror, around £75 million has been reserved for attempting to entice 28-year-old De Gea whose contract with United runs out next summer.
Manchester United on the other hand are reported to be in talks with David De Gea over a new £350,000-a-week at Old Trafford.
Last summer, Real Madrid signed Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea, but reports added that Zidane wants another top clash stopper this summer.
Real Madrid are currently occupying third position on the Spanish La Liga standings with 54 points after 28 games played this season.
Los Blancos have been dumped out of all competitions and have limited hope of winning the La Liga title this term.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Real Madrid enjoyed a winning start in Zinedine Zidane second spell as Los Blancos boss with a 2-0 victory over Celta Vigo on Saturday, March 16, at Santiago Bernabeu.
The encounter saw Celta Vigo came close to netting the opener after Pione Sisto pass found Maxi Gomez, but his header could not beat Keylor Navas, who was spot on to push the ball over the crossbar.
