Healthy relationships are not made in heaven. They are actually striven for and made to happen through consistent practice and compromise. Often times, couples have to make sacrifices to keep their affairs consistent.
Legit.ng recently conducted a poll in this regard that was posed at questioning what is considered a practised norm amongst Africans when it comes to relationship. The question was centered around whether a man should inform his wife before sending money to his parents.
This question which was put out on the Facebook page of Legit.ng generated a lot of reactions from many Nigerians. At the end of the poll, 76% of the people who has participated in the poll decided against a man telling his wife about his decision to send money to his parents.
On the other hand, 24% of Nigerians who had been involved were in favour of informing one's wife before a decision is made in that regard. Indeed, there is a wide gap between those who are for and against this.

What was even more informing, however, was the comments of people who had voted. Very interesting points were raised in support or opposition of whether a woman should be aware of her husband's plan to send money home.
