Ryan Gibson, Bayern Munich fan, has refused to allow his current situation affect his support for the club.
The supporter is suffering from rare ocular cancer, but he has gone out of his way to do unimaginable things for the love of the teams they support.
Some of them have tattooed their favourites club jerseys on their bodies, while others have named members of their families after best football players.
Fans have gone to unmatched heights to show support for the game, and Ryan Gibson's story is no different.
The 33-year-old has painted Bayern Munich's logo on his right eye in an apparent show of love and support for the German club.
“Anyone can get a Bayern tattoo. But it’s not every day you can show your club and fans that you have their eye," he was quoted saying.
However, the inspiration behind the drastic move is what makes Gibson's story incredible.
According to Goal.com who had an exclusive interview with the Bayern fan, Gibson lost his right eye to a rare ocular cancer.
The condition saw him lose his eye, replacing it with an ocular prosthesis, an artificial eye that fits over an orbital implant just under the eyelids.
The ex-Navy serviceman went on to have the prosthetic eye hand-painted a Bayern Munich logo where the pupil should be.

But Ryan, who hails from Charlotte, North Carolina had to seek the approval of the club before having the logo.
The move, which goes a long way to show his unrivalled support for the Bundesliga giants is also meant to raise awareness of the condition.
“When people ask me about the eye it opens up two things – it allows me to talk about Bayern Munich," he divulged.
“But it also increases awareness for ocular melanoma. It’s such a rare disease," he added.
