Nigerians have continued to pay their heart felt tribute to renowned scholar and social critic, Pius Adesanmi, who lost his life in the Ethiopian Boeing 737 airline crash on Sunday, March 10. A candlelight gathering was held for the late professor in Abuja.
There was a procession for the professor also in Oyo sate on Wednesday, March 13. Lagos session would hold, March 14.
Pius Adesanmi is a Canada-based professor at Carleton University and a writer who has written so much on the Nigerian political system and contemporary issues.
One of his books, Naija No Dey Carry Last, is a collection of satirical essays on Nigerian political life and what it really means to live in the country.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng, earlier reported that a candlelight gathering was organized in Abuja.
Up until his death, Pius Adesanmi was the director at the Institute of African Studies (IAS) at Carleton University in Canada. He left behind a wife and a little daughter.
