Before the official unveiling of Zidane, Ramos was told by Perez that the Frenchman will be making a sensational return back to the club.

It is understood Mourinho may have axed Ramos if he returned to Madrid after the pair were not in good terms before the Portuguese manager left for Chelsea in 2013.

Zidane will be looking to begin on a winning start when his side face Celta Vigo at the weekend.
