Wear what you want to wear - Chimamanda Adichie tells women to exercise freedom over their choices

Popular writer Chimamanda Adichie has always been known to be one to freely express her feminist thoughts and opinions. The admirable public speaker recently had a chitchat with CNN. In reference to her strong beliefs, she challenged women to wear what they want to wear.

According to her, it is important for women to live life on their own terms without having to think of what anyone thought of them.

The lady emphasized that women do not have to do what people wanted them to do. In fact, they could wear whatever it is they want to wear.

Although she meant this outright statement as a joke, she seriously felt the need to affect women with that feeling of self-confidence and self-motivation needed to express themselves.

And I think it's mentally exhausting to do that. And, you take away from yourself, the energy that you could have used to do things that are actually meaningful to you.
