The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna on Monday, March 11, rejected the results of the state's gubernatorial election which was held on Saturday, March 9.
The opposition party said the result declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were not the true reflection of the people's votes cast.
The PDP's agent in the state, Jerry Ishaya, while speaking at the Kaduna state collation centre said the party rejects the result in its entirety.
Ishaya said the PDP agents in various polling units and wards across local government areas in the state informed the party leadership that card readers were not used at all.
He said: "We have formally written the INEC that card readers were not used in those local government areas mentioned."
“Our agents told us how security agents overpowered them in some areas.
“The results were manipulated in collaboration with the INEC, security agents," Ishaya said.
