The All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state's polling unit.
ThisDay reports that Governor Ajimobi failed to deliver his polling unit 20 ward 11 in Saturday, March 9 governorship election in the southwest state.
According to the report, the result announced by electoral officials at the polling unit, showed that the ruling APC scored 112 votes while the PDP polled 145 votes.
Ajimobi, who cast his vote at about 1pm at the Oluyole Community Grammar School, Oluyole, Ibadan, accompanied to the polling unit, by his wife Florence, failed to make his party smile at the polling unit so close to his residence.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported earlier that armed touts allegedly forced some voters in Ogbomosho South local government area of Oyo state to vote for APC candidates.
According to the report, the election malpractice took place in Ward 4, Polling Unit 5, Polling Unit 6 and Polling Unit 7, Ogbomosho South, where voters are being forced by the touts, to show their ballot papers after voting.

It was gathered that as a result of the development, many voters returned back to their homes, as they were discouraged from taking part in the exercise.
