Sergio Reguilon was said to have insulted Luis Suarez in Real Madrid's 1-0 defeat to Barcelona during Sunday's El Clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ivan Rakitic scored the only goal which separated the two sides as the title contention continues to tilt towards the Catalans.

SunSport however reported that the 22-year-old told the former Liverpool star 'you're so ugly' when both of them engaged in verbal war on the pitch.

The Spaniard allowed his frustration of Los Blancos defeat get under his skin as he reacted badly towards his opponents few minutes to the end of the tie.

As the Galacticos have failed to beat their arch rivals in their four meetings so far this campaign - with three of their last four matches ending in victory for the Camp Nou outfit.

But Reguilon was not satisfied as he also aimed some insults at the five-time Ballon d’Or winner in the process.

He blasted: “What did you say? What's the matter with you? Flea (Messi's nickname)... What? What's wrong with you?"

The victory meant that Barca have opened a 12 point gap between them and Santiago Solari’s side who are third on the log.

Los Blancos in spite of the defeat over the weekend will hope they continue their progress in the Champions League as they face Ajax last round of 16 clash having won the first leg 2-1 in Amsterdam last month.
