Arsenal on Wednesday night, February 27, continued with their impressive run in the EPL after defeating Bournemouth 5-1 at Emirates in an epic Premier League clash.
The Gunners came into the match on the bounce of their 2-0 convincing victory over relegation-threatened Southampton at the weekend.
Unai Emery named a relatively strong squad for the mid week tie, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan starting upfront.
The lethal attacking trio went on to combine perfectly to subject Bournemouth to a comprehensive defeat.

Ozil opened the scoring for the hosts within just four minutes of game play, with the German playmaker clinically finishing over the fallen Boruc from Kolasinac's assist.
Mkhitaryan doubled the lead in the 27th minute, burying a volley into the back of the net after a defensive blunder from the visitors who gave the ball away deep in their own half.
Eddie Howe's men however pulled one three minutes later via Lys Mousset as the first half finished 2-1 in favour of the home side.
Upon the resumption of the second half, Arsenal once again started brightly as Laurent Koscielny made it 3-1 just two minutes after the restart of the match.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang got his name on the score sheet in the 59th minute after benefiting from Mkhitaryan's assists.
In the 64th minute, Emery substituted Mkhitaryan for Alexander Lacazette who made an immediate impact as he bagged Arsenal's fifth goal of the night in the 78th minute to put the game beyond Bournemouth.
The Gunners still sit fourth on the Premier League standings with 56 points as they pushed for a top four finish at the end of the season.
