They say politics is numbers and for President Buhari who is known as the king of the north, numbers are what make up his crown.
Many will claim that from the very beginning, Buhari's win was predictable even though it did not comes so easy because of the giant opposition Abubakar Atiku had grown to become with his message of a "better Nigeria".
However, for those analysts who watched from the sidelines, a lot could be told from the campaign photos of President Buhari. Not only did he visit many states across Nigeria, he was also able to pull a lot of crowd and such representation said all one needed to know about his Jerusalem-ic entrance after winning the re-election bid.
By now people are familiar with the hand signals that represent the Buhari figure. Those signals not only showed the state of power but began a movement that led to the eventual victory for the president.
With 15,191,847 votes polled from 36 states in the country and a clear win in 19 states, Sai Baba was the chant of his supporters when the president was declared winner by INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu on February 27.
However the beginning of his victory were captured in photos while he campaigned. Legit.ng takes a look at seven powerful photos that hinted that President Buhari will remain on the seat of power for another quadrennial.
1. When he emerged APC's candidate
It is very important to note the beginning of the long journey which has now come to a final stop. Having no contest, Buhari, was chosen as All Progressives Congress (APC)'s presidential candidate and it marked the very beginning of the 2019 re-election bid.

They do not call him the king in the north for nothing. When Buhari visited Kaduna during his campaign, the numbers of his supporters were almost unreal. Brothers, children, everyone came out to catch a glimpse of sai baba and reflected their admiration in the polling booth, giving him 993,445 votes.
Although PDP got the badge of victory in Delta, it is worthy of note that Buhari still got over 200,000 votes from the region. Pictures do not lie, the people also came out for Baba Bubu as much as they did for Atiku and the polls show it.
4. Taraba wave
Many believed that the campaign photos from Taraba were doctored but the numbers said different. While PDP won the state with 374,743 votes, APC,was right behind with 324,906 votes. With a margin of 49,837, victory was less than 50,000 votes away. That says a lot!
5. Akwa Ibom fever
When PMB strutted into the city of Akwa Ibom, the shut down of the stadium venue had many thinking something else was happening. Little was it known that the southern state will deliver 175,429 votes to seal the victory of the former general.
With APC's broom, Buhari swept clean Jigawa state. They welcomed him with open arms during campaign and showed their love for him on February 23. Numbers do not lie. PMB walked away with 794,738 votes from the J-town.
