Jurgen Klopp denies claims of bust-up with Henderson after Man United draw

Jurgen Klopp has denied reports suggesting he was involved in a dressing room bust-up with Reds captain, Jordan Henderson, at Old Trafford on Sunday, February 24.

According to TV images Henderson and Klopp were involved in a touch-line disagreement during the 0-0 draw against Manchester United after Klopp replaced his skipper with Xerdan Shaqiri.

In the process of replacing his skipper there was a moment of tension and to worsen matters Henderson looked to have snubbed Klopp's handshake, walking straight passed him.

"In terms of the situation, it was a pure misunderstanding that's clear. For me, when a player leaves the pitch, it's clear, we shake hands," Klopp said.
"But I am in the situation as well. I didn't say you have to wait for me until i look at you again as I was with Shaq talking when Hendo left. He was thank you to the crowd," Klopp explained.

In the video, Henderson seems oblivious as he pushes his manager's arm away with his chest, however, Klopp strongly dismissed the incident as a pure misunderstanding.

And following the touchline drama reports surfaced of a dressing room bust-up that Klopp also furiously dismissed as rubbish.

"Hendo wasn't even there. He was being drug tested. Nothing happened after the game, we were completely fine," Klopp assured.
"We spoke about the game and the chances we had, things we did, and then we drove home," he said.
