Egypt’s Pharaohs manager Javier Aguirre has named a 25-man strong squad that include 10 new players to battle Nigeria’s Super Eagles in an international friendly at the Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba on March 26.
According to english.ahram.org.eg report, the Mexican tactician opted to left out the trio of Liverpool’s star Mohamed Salah alongside West Bromwich Albion’s centre-back Ahmed Hegazi and Aston Villa's Ahmed Elmohamady from the squad due to their clubs busy schedule in England.
Aguirre is now expected to test some other players ahead of the final preparations for the 2019 AFCON in June.
Interestingly, Aguirre, who was named Egypt manager in August 2018, have claimed four straight wins in the African qualifiers, netting 15 goals and conceding just four times so far.
