It is a common saying that knowledge is power and every piece of information would come handy someday. Well, a young man did not expect that the CPR lessons his father taught him would ever become useful.
A young man identified as Usman Shamaki took to his Twitter page to share how he was able to save a young girl’s life.
According to Usman, his father taught him how to perform CPR on an unconscious person as a child and he was never too happy about the lessons. He further explained that anytime he missed a step, his father would scold him and say: "This is a matter of life and death. This could come in handy one day. It could save a life”, before starting all over.
Well, the lessons came in handy for Usman 21 years later when his neighbour’s daughter had suffered a seizure and he was able to make her conscious again.
