- Atiku polled 366,690 votes, while President Buhari got 365,229 votes

- The total number of votes casted in the presidential election in the state was 366,690

Atiku Abubakar of the PDP has been declared winner of the presidential election held in Anambra state on Saturday, February 23.

Atiku who scored 366,690 votes, defeat President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC who got a total of 365,229 votes. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) reported that the total number of votes cast in the presidential election in the state was 366,690.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, the winner of the Saturday, February 23, presidential election held in Anambra state.

Legit.ng reported that Atiku Abubakar defeated the candidate of the APC and incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari in Anambra state.

With the results declared so far from 15 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the ruling party had won 10 states with 53.67% while Abubakar won 5 states with 43.37%. Out of the states, two are below the 25% threshold.
