As results of the general elections keep pouring in from the International Conference Centre in Abuja, Dele Momodu has called on Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to accept defeat.

Momodu made the call on his twitter page on Tuesday, February 26, asking the PDP presidential candidate not to waste any time in congratulating President Buhari on his re-election.

He said Atiku should know that only God can give or take power, while adding that the former vice president has written his name in gold.

According to him, Atiku will gain much more if he picks up the phone and calls Buhari to congratulate him.

Recall that the PDP rejected the results of last Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections being announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Legit.ng gathered that the PDP national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, addressing a press conference in Abuja, described the figures being announced by INEC as incorrect and totally unacceptable.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that the APC on Monday, February 25, said it had rejected the presidential election result in Akwa Ibom, declared by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the collation centre in Uyo.
