Manchester City squad members returned to training Monday afternoon despite playing for 120 minutes in Sunday’s Carabao Cup final win over Chelsea ahead of their Premier League clash with West Ham.
According to a Daily Mail report, City players did not show any sign of fatigue during the light session on Monday afternoon, claiming their first trophy of the season via penalties after beating Chelsea 4-3 at Wembley after a keenly-contested 0-0 draw.
But the Premier League defending champions had little time to celebrate their success as they were back on the pitch for a light session on Monday.
City stars like Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Kyle Walker and Oleksandr Zinchenko were all in playful mood all through the duration of the session as they smiled for the cameras ahead of the Premier League clash with West Ham on Wednesday.
