South African man who urged people to support black business sells his sperm for N78,300

A photo of a man advertising his business on a placard on the road has gone viral on social media. The young man had taken to the street to advertise his sperm for 3,000 rand which is N78,300.

Social media users were left confused after the photo was shared. So, why did people find the advert so hilarious? Well, the man is selling his sperm, with prices ranging from R500 (N13,050) to R3k (N78,300), depending on what the lady is looking for.

On Friday, February 22, Twitter user @TakaTina shared a post in response to a post by Twitter parody account Man's Not Barry Roux.

The post included a photo of the man, who called on South Africans to support his 'black business', which entails him selling his sperm.

The man's cardboard box read:"Support black business. Sperms for sale: Boy= R500, Girl= R1000, Triplets= R3000, Twins= R2000."

Legit.ng is not sure when or where the photo was taken and if it was a serious advert or a joke. Regardless, tweeps found the photo hilarious.

It is not uncommon to hear stories such as this, there have been people who give out their sperm just to help others and some, like the young man, do it for financial gain.
