The Etihad landlords defeated the Blues on penalties in a tough match played at the Wembley Stadium as City began their search for a quadruple this season.

Players like Vincent Kompany, Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker were all pictured arriving back with medals around their necks as Manchester City won their first trophy of the season.

Phil Foden, Ilkay Gundogan and Fabian Delph also opted to keep the winners medal around their neck on their arrival.

A member of Manchester City's security team was all smiles as he was trusted to carry the Carabao Cup after the team's arrival back in the City.
