Buhari's minister Onu loses polling unit to Atiku, PDP candidates in Ebonyi

- The minister of science and technology, Ogbonnaya Onu, has lost his polling unit to opposition

- Onu lost to Atiku Abubakar and other Peoples Democratic Party's candidates in New Market polling unit

- The minister's brother, Prince Nweze Onu, was also reported to have lost his unit to PDP senatorial candidate

The minister of science and technology, Ogbonnaya Onu, failed to deliver his polling unit for President Muhammadu Buhari in a presidential and National Assembly election held in Ebonyi state on Saturday, February 23.

Daily Trust reports that the minister and his brother, Prince Nweze Onu, who is the APC senatorial candidate for the Ebonyi South, lost their New Market polling unit in Ohaozara local government area of the state to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the All Progressives Congress (APC) was declared the winner of the House of Representatives poll for the Atisbo, Saki east, Saki west federal constituency, Oyo north senatorial district in Oyo state by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The candidate of the party, Olajide Olatunbosun, would now represent the constituency in the next session of the National Assembly.
