Residents of Lagos state has described as false social media reports that Yoruba were attacking Igbo residing in the sate, saying that thugs were those fomenting trouble in the state.
Legit.ng gathers that writer identified as Ayo Sogunro said thugs in Lagos were targeting Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) areas.
He said: "Yorubas are not attacking Igbos. If reports are true, thugs in Lagos are targeting PDP areas - which is home to many Igbos, but not Igbos in APC areas.
"Yorubas also reside in target places and are facing the same issues as Igbos. We must know the enemy if we truly want to win."

Okoro Junior MD called on Igbo living in flash point areas to understand that politicians and their thugs were the perpetrators of the attack.
A Twitter user identified as Dr Dipo says the average Yoruba does not hate Nigerians of Igbo extraction.
Jide Adigun also said Yoruba did not attack the Igbo, saying the attack was politically motivated.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, won his polling unit in Bauchi state for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the Saturday, February 23 election.
Speaker Dogara voted at Central Primary School, Gwarangah in Bogoro, Dass, Tafawa Balewa local government area.

Atiku polled a total of 285 votes at Dogara's unit 007A, while President Muhammadu Buhari got 15 votes. Nineteen votes at the polling unit were declared invalid.
At polling unit 007B, PDP had 265 votes, while APC polled only 16 votes. Eighteen votes were declared invalid.
PDP got 290 votes at the third polling unit - also at Dogara's village - while APC polled 09 votes.
