2019 elections: Okorocha's son-in-law, Almakura win polling units for Buhari
- Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has delivered his polling unit in Nkwerre local government area of Imo state to President Muhammadu Buhari
- Governor Umaru Almakura of Nasarawa state also delivered his polling unit to President Buhari
- Almakura's polling unit is situated in Gayan 08 in Kofar Wambai Ward of Lafia, the state capital
Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, the governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in Imo, delivered his polling unit in Nkwerre local government area of Imo state state to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Daily Trust reports that Nwosu won his polling unit in Eziama Obaire in Nkwerre local government area of the state for President Buhari with 711 against PDP candidate Atiku Abubakar’s 50 votes.
It was learnt that the counting of votes was delayed due to a heavy downpour which started at about 2.30 pm on Saturday, February 23.

Also, Governor Umaru Almakura of Nasarawa state has delivered his polling unit to President Buhari as APC scored 890 votes while Atiku Abubakar, the PDP candidate, scored 30 votes.
The polling unit is situated in Gayan 08 in Kofar Wambai Ward of Lafia, the state capital. Almakura, who is aspiring for the senate, won 832 votes to defeat the incumbent, Senator Suleiman Adokwe of the PDP who has been in the senate for 12 years He scored 42 votes.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that Senator Iyiola Omisore delivered his polling unit in Ife, Osun state, to President Buhari as the latter won a landslide victory at the polling unit.
The elections, which were held at St Gabriel School in Moore ward in Ife East, was in favour of President Buhari and National Assembly candidates of the All Progressives Congress.

Apart from Omisore who won his polling unit for Buhari, former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu, and APC national publicity secretary, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, also delivered their polling units to Buhari.
