President Muhammadu Buhari defeated Waziri Adamawa and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, at Lamido Adamawa Palace polling unit in Yola south local government area.
Announcing the result at the polling unit, Idris Yunusa, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) presiding officer at Lamido Adamawa Palace polling unit Mbamoi 010 announced that the APC presidential candidate scored 228 votes while the presidential candidate of PDP scored 138 votes, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
Recall that Legit.ng earlier reported that Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) won the presidential election in the polling unit where Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe state voted.
Buhari defeated Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with 453 votes while the PDP candidate score 80 votes.
Dankwambo, also a member of the PDP, however, won the polling unit 005 Hassan Manzo in Harwagana ward Gombe Local government aea in the state.
Legit.ng also gathered that Buhari also emerged the winner of the Benue government house polling unit, in Makurdi as the coalition for the February 23 Presidential election results begins.
