President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the presidential election in the polling unit where Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe state voted.
Premium Times reports that Buhari defeated Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with 453 votes while the PDP candidate score 80 votes.
Dankwambo, also a member of the PDP, however, won the polling unit 005 Hassan Manzo in Harwagana ward Gombe Local government aea in the state.
It should be noted that the governor is presently running for the Senate.
Ahmad Jamilu who is the presiding officer announced that Dankwambo scored 325 votes, while Sa’idu Ahmed Alkali of APC polled 212.
At the unit, there were four invalid votes, while one was rejected.

Recall that Legit.ng earlier reported that Buhari also won in the polling unit of Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi.
It was also gathered that Buhari scored 182 while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled five votes at Ojilolo ward unit 009 on Saturday, February 23.
