- The PDP got not less than 258 votes, while the APC polled only one vote at Obi's polling unit in Agulu, Anaocha local government area of the state
- Moreover, the All Progressives Congress Alliance (APGA) got four votes which is three more than what APC polled
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has defeated President Muhammadu Buhari at the polling unit of Peter Obi, the opposition party's vice presidential candidate.
Legit.ng correspondents on ground in Umudiakasi Square polling unit in Agulu, Anaocha local government area of Anambra state report that PDP polled 258 votes against the ruling party's paltry one as the All Progressives Congress Alliance (APGA) got four votes, three more than Buhari’s All Progressives Congress (APC).
As at the time of filing this report, the result for the senatorial and House of Representatives candidates could not be ascertained, but the PDP was said to be coasting with the number of votes that had been counted.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Peter Obi had referred to the electoral process as 'clumsy'. Obi made the comment after casting his vote at his polling unit in Anambra state on Saturday, February 23.

When questioned by a Legit.ng reporter, Damilare Okunola, about what he thought about the electoral process so far, he said: “The process was clumsy. You all saw how long it took me to cast my vote. I believe we can do better.”
