President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly won his polling unit, PU003 at Sarkin Yara ward A, in Daura local government of Katsina state.
The president scored 523 votes to defeat the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, who reportedly polled just three votes, Premium Times reports.
Legit.ng gathers that APC candidate for Katsina north senatorial district, Kaita Baba-Ahmad, however, lost the president's unit to Accord Party's candidate, Lawal Nalado.
According to report, Nalado scored 263 to defeat the incumbent senator, Kaita, who scored 248 votes.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari and his wife, Aisha, voted in Daura, Katsina state in the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
The wife, Aisha, voted before the president at 8.06am, while the president voted at 8.10 a.m. at the Kofar Baru, Sarkin Yara “A” ward in Daura.
