Ivan Rakitic and Ousmane Dembele could be given a rest before the derby, with Philippe Coutinho and Carlos Alena replacing them.

"Everything is always focused around the big names at certain times.

In the case of Luis, it is curious because this same focus has been placed on him before and he has answered by scoring many goals. In the last two games he has had clear chances to score."

Legit.ng earlier reported that Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas aimed a dig at Lionel Messi ahead of their Champions League clash against Barcelona at Groupama Stadium.

The 70-year-old football administrator claims the Argentine does not always get motivated against his side.

Coach Valverde's men extended their lead on the Spanish league table following their slim victory against Real Valladolid over the weekend after three consecutive draws in all competitions.
