Mixed reactions trail Buhari's national address on eve of elections

The content of the address was posted on the president's Facebook page on Friday, February 22.

In the address, Buhari urged Nigerians with voting cards to participate in defining the future of the nation by exercising their democratic rights.

The president further assuaged fears, following the previous postponement of the election; imploring Nigerians to cast aside doubts and have faith that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will rise to the occasion.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that there was poor turnout at the one-million-man march for President Muhammadu Buhari which held on Thursday, February 21, as less than 200 All Progressive Congress (APC) members turned out for the event.

No single member of the state executive of the APC attended the rally, which was organised by the Niger state chapter of the Buhari Support Organisation (BSO).
