Premier League giants Arsenal have qualified for the round of 16 of this season's Europa League championship after beating BATE Borisov 3-0 on Thursday night at the Emirates stadium.

BATE Borisov went into this game with high morale after beating the Gunners 1-0 in the first leg in Belarus, and their hope was to get a decent result in the second leg.

Arsenal started the match with massive attack looking for an early goal, and it took the Gunners only four minutes to find the back of net through an own goal by Zakhar Volkov.

The visitors then changed their style of play after conceding the first goal at the Emirates stadium, but they conceded another one before the end of the first half.

Shkodran Mustafi doubled the Gunners' lead barely six minutes to the end first 45 minutes of the game with the hosts at advantage heading into the tunnel.

Having lost the reverse fixture by a lone goal in Belarus earlier this month, Unai Emery's men put up an impressive display to overturn the result.
