However, since the fashion icon has passed on, his eight-year-old cat is set to become the richest feline in the world. She is most likely to receive a slice from the late designer’s fortune.

In a Numero magazine interview in 2018, the late star was asked if Choupette was an heir to his fortune and he replied in the affirmative. He said: “Among others, yes. Don’t worry, there is enough for everyone.”
Another person who might gain a fortune after the designer’s death is his 10-year-old godson, Hudson Kroenig. Lagerfeld was also very fond of Hudson.
