Roman Abramovich was cooling off listening to Moscow's finest in ballet and opera despite the crisis rocking Chelsea in recent weeks.

The Russian billionaire has been less concerned with Maurizio Sarri's poor strings results with the Blues recently humiliated by Man City and United.

The heavy criticisms aimed towards Sarri by Stamford Bridge fans during the 2-0 loss to Red Devils was like nothing ever happened in the Abramovich era.

According to SunSport, Sarri could be given the boot should Chelsea be embarrassed by City again in Sunday's Carabao Cup final.

Claudio Ranieri was sacked for finishing second to Arsenal's Invincibles, while Avram Grant was axed after they lost in the final of the Champions League against Manchester United.

Another Italian boss Roberto Di Matteo, who despite won the Blues' first Champions League trophy, lasted just six months before being booted the following season.

Abramovich who does not usually have patience with managers has been banned in the UK for nearly a year, it is a wonder whether his passion for his darling club has burned out.

After Chelsea's 4-0 loss to Bournemouth, Sarri said of Abramovich: "If the president calls, I’ll be happy, seeing as I never hear from him."

And Abramovich's former adviser and close friend Grant believes the visa dispute could see Roman's rubles withdrawn from West London.

Grant was asked whether Chelsea up for sale in December: "I wouldn't be surprised if that does happen," he told SunSport

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich used to send him a text message whenever the team lost.

The Italian tactician, who is currently the head coach of Serie A side Napoli, was hired as the Blues boss in 2009.
