Maurizio Sarri to be fired at Chelsea if club lose against Man City

- Maurizio Sarri will be fired at Chelsea if the club lose against Man City

- Chelsea and Premier League champions Manchester City will face-off in the final of the Carabao Cup

- Sarri will now hope his wards get a good result in this tie as that looks like the only way he can save his job at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea chiefs have reportedly made up their minds to show embattled manager Maurizio Sarri the exit doors if the Blues lose the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.

Maurizio Sarri has been under serious fire recently at Stamford Bridge following poor results as Chelsea are also currently out of the top four teams in the Premier League.

The Blues have been sent out of this season's English FA Cup by Manchester United who defeated the London club in front of their faithfuls.

Chelsea's only realistic hope of winning a title this season is now in the Carabao Cup although they are still active in the Europa League championship.

Sarri and his wards will face Manchester City this coming Sunday, and he must have at the back of his mind that a defeat will take him out of the London club according to UK Mirror.

Already, Juventus boss Max Allegri and former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane have both been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

But it now appears that Maurizio Sarri has been given some time to redeem himself at Chelsea so as to save his job.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how former Real Madrid gaffer Zinedine Zidane is reportedly interested in becoming the next Chelsea manager only if the Blues will agree with his terms and also keep superstar Eden Hazard.

Since the Frenchman left reigning European League champions Real Madrid, he has been out of job although he was linked with Manchester United before the club hired Ole Solskjaer.
