A British mother of five identified as Denise Coates is known as the highest paid woman in the world. This extraordinary woman, who owns an online betting company makes over N124 biillion per year.
The 51-year-old who is married to Richard Smith is said to have a salary of 265 million pounds per year.
According to The Guardian, if her salary is stacked up in 50 pounds notes (N23,540), it would form a tower that is almost twice as high as the Shard skyscraper in London.
Coates' company, Bet365, gets wagers from gamblers higher that the annual economic output of some countries. In 2018, it was said that the company gamblers wagered 52.5 billion pounds, an amount said to outstrip the annual economic output of Croatia and Uruguay.
The company’s winnings on those wages shown as revenue in financial accounts released shows that she made 2.7 billion pounds ( N1.2trillion).

In 2017, Coates made 217 million pounds as salary from the profits of what has now become the remains of a private family owned business.
It was gathered that Coates' father, Peter, was the son of a miner who became successful as a local businessman who owned a string of betting shops.
However, it was the 51-year-old woman who made her father's business into an online money making company as an econometrics graduate.
