According to @urfreshtv on Instagram, the singer was said to have declined the mouth-watery offers because ' he doesn’t want to influence the people of Nigeria for his own selfish interest'.

A quick glance at the reactions on the said Instagram post shows that the singer himself liked the post, which indirectly confirms the authenticity of the claim.
