INEC substituted ad hoc staff with officials from APC, EU, UK, US - PDP alleges (document)

- PDP has accused INEC of replacing its tained ad hoc staff with officials of other local and international groups for the elections

- The opposition party on its official Twitter page on Saturday, February 16, alleged that INEC has resolved to use personnel from APC, EU, UK and US for the polls

- The party remarked that the alleged substitution is a provocative move and rejected it vehemently

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday, February 16, alleged that some of the trained ad hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have been substituted with personnel of the All Progressives Congress (APC), European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK) and the United States (US).

In its allegation, the opposition party on its official Twitter page remarked that the said substitution is provocative.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Atiku Abubakar, the PDP's presidential candidate, alleged that the postponement of the general elections by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is “obviously a case of the hand of Esau but the voice of Jacob.”

Legit.ng gathered that Atiku blamed the postponement of the elections on the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, saying the government had "more than enough time and money to prepare".
