- Maurizio Sarri is currently under pressure at Stamford Bridge after defeat against Man City

Chelsea defender David Luiz has made it clear that the players remain committed to manager Maurizo Sarri who is currently under pressure at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have lost three consecutive Premier League games and there have been reports that Maurizio Sarri could face the exit doors at the end of the season.

But the 2-1 Europa League away win against Malmo has reduced the pressure a little bit on Maurizio Sarri and Luiz has now offered his support.

When the former Paris-Saint-Germain star was asked if Chelsea star believe in the Sarri ball style at Stamford Bridge, the Brazilian said:'' Yes, because we have had many meetings already asking if someone doesn’t believe, they can say. Nobody said anything. It’s because everyone believe in him.

''It is part of the process. We lost against maybe the best team in the world at the moment in Manchester City.

''They were better than us from the beginning to the end. We lost a few matches because it is part of the process.

''The teams that are at the top of the table now are ones with managers who have been there for more than three years.

''I have played in big clubs for many, many years. When you win it is good, but when you lose nobody is going to be happy and the pressure is going to be there,'' Luiz explained according to Dailymail.

Chelsea who are currently out of the top four teams will face Manchester United in their next game which will be in the FA Cup.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Eden Hazard was on Thursday night, February 14, manhandled by an unknown fan who invaded the pitch after Chelsea's win over Malmo in the Europa League encounter.

The Belgium international came off the bench in Sweden and had to be rescued by stewards as a fan grabbed him.

Hazard was shaken for a moment after being grabbed by the fan with no one knowing the rationale that made the supporter to enter the pitch.
