Jesus Christ was the first person to do plastic surgery - Says Ghanaian actress Nana Frema

Cosmetic surgery has been a very controversial issue in the entertainment scene. A particular school of thoughts opines that females should embrace their natural and God given bodies, while another holds the view that there is nothing wrong in enhancing ones beauty by going under the knife.

A Ghanaian female celebrity identified as Nana Frema has come out to share a surprising revelation about the origin plastic surgery.

The actress, who is one of the few to have publicly come out to disclose that she has undergone cosmetic surgery to gain a more curvy stature, said that Jesus Christ was one of the first people to have performed plastic surgery during his time on earth.

In an interview with Kwame Adjetia on Ghana’s Neat FM, she disclosed liposuction as the beauty procedure she had gone through to enhance her body.

She said she visited one Dr Dominic Obengfo of Obengfo Hospital, to suction excess fatty tissue from her body in order to have a more prominent backside.

The curvaceous lady backed up her assertion by making a reference to an instance in the Bible in which she had said Jesus performed a surgery on a human being.

She quoted the scripture from Luke 22:51. She said: "Jesus Christ did a plastic surgery. Somebody’s ears were cut off and he fixed it. It was surgery. God is the one who has given doctors the knowledge.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously gathered the report of five Nigerian celebrities rumoured to have undergone plastic surgery to enhance their looks. The list featured Toke Makinwa, Dabota Lawson, Tonto Dikeh and two others.
