Peoples Trust (PT) presidential candidate, Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has claimed that he has more social media engagements than the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Olawepo-Hashim, in a statement released by his campaign team, said going by the data on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in Abuja, he recorded Facebook engagements in excess of 63,000 this week, while Atiku Abubakar who came behind him, recorded 56,000+.
The PT campaign team claimed that the candidate of the APC, President Muhammadu Buhari is far behind with only 6000+ engagements.
The statement reads: “Weekly social media rating of presidential candidates’ engagements on the popular online platform, Facebook, on Tuesday, showed that the candidate of Peoples Trust (PT), Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, is still leading as the most popular presidential candidate online, three days to the presidential election.
“The latest data showed that Hashim was ahead of the incumbent president and All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, and major opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Olawepo-Hashim assured Nigerians that the party, if voted into power in the forthcoming general elections, will deliver 24th century economy that will be secured, prosperous and modern.
He made the pledge at the presidential campaign flag off of the party on Saturday, January 12, held at the Old Parade ground in Abuja.
An international businessman of repute, Olawepo-Hashim is the adopted candidate of the Third Force Movement.
