The president said the residents of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and those in the northeast could see the result and testify about the good works that had been done to reduce unrest, as security agencies are presently handling the farmers-herdsmen crisis in Benue state and the issue of lawlessness in Zamfara state.
President Buhari also mentioned how the availability of affordable fertilizers has greatly reduced the importation of rice by 90%.
He said the money made through the restructuring of the agriculture sector has been diverted to providing important social amenities like electricity, roads and rail lines
The president added that when he is re-elected, he would investigate the $16 billion spent on power by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which never had any effect on the electricity situation of the country.
