- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hints on Manchester United transfer plans
- The Red Devils were humbled in the Champions League by PSG
- Solskjaer suffered his first loss of the season after 12 matches
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed Manchester United urgently need to be active in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils did not participate in the January transfer window because they were put off with inflated price of players in the market.
The Norwegian boss is caretaker manager with the hope of landing a permanent deal at Old Trafford at the end of season.
Solskjaer suffered his first defeat at the hands of last 16 opponents, Paris Saint-Germain, in the Champions League after 12 games in charge.
He admitted it was a bitter pill to swallow but hinted that plans are underway as United are preparing revamp their squad ahead of next season.

He said: "It's a reality check. You can see the strength they have when they put those players in as you talk about but that's the level we want to get to, and we are looking to strengthen the squad.
"And then again we have so many young players to take a step up for next season."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Manchester United lost the first leg Champions League round of 16 match by 2-0 to PSG.
Two second half goals from Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe in the second gave the Parisians the advantage into the second leg.
