As 2019 elections draw nearer, several social media platforms have been flooded with discussions about elections. Some have debated the potential of candidates and some others have stirred confusion over the process of the election itself.
Interestingly, 2019 elections is witnessing the boldness of some Nigerian celebrities who are using their platforms to speak about it. Recently, Davido publicly stated his preferred candidates for the elections and even revealed that he is being threatened over his political ambition but he remains fearless.
Wizkid seems to have joined the band wagon and aired his views about the upcoming elections. In a recent post shared on his Snapchat, the Starboy advised Nigerians to vote wisely. He stated that no one should vote a candidate endorsed by a celebrity because they have been paid for it.

Reflecting hope in the citizens, he stated that anyone who is old enough to vote is capable of thinking and should do so in picking a candidate that will move the country forward.
The Manya crooner also sent a message to the leaders of the country saying that they have a responsibility of caring for millions of citizens and should focus on the progress of the country.
