Jose Mourinho to host TV show to analyze Champions League matches

Jose Mourinho has found new love in the journalism profession as the former Manchester United boss is set to host a show on Russian TV channel RT.

The 56-year-old will give analysis at the ongoing Champions League tournament in the fortnightly football program.

"I'm going to talk about football on RT. What else did you think I was going to do?" he says in a promotional video.

The ex-Chelsea manager worked as a pundit for the Moscow-based RT network during the 2018 World Cup, last summer in Russia.

He was relieved of his duties after almost two and half years in charge at Old Trafford.

"After the previous stage of my career was over, everyone wondered what I was going to do next," Mourinho says in the video advertisement posted on YouTube.

"I wanted a new challenge... I'm used to surprising people," he adds.

The new show is titled On the Touchline with José Mourinho and it will be starting on Thursday, March 7.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Manchester City showed no mercy when they hammered Chelsea 6-0 at the Etihad Stadium in Sunday's Premier League clash.

Three goals from Sergio Aguero and a Raheem Sterling's brace with Ilkay Gundogan stunner ensured the Citizens return to the summit of the league table.

SunSport however reports that City fans chanted "You need Mourinho" during the disappointing clash at Etihad Stadium.
