How time flies! This statement is very apt in light of the recent celebration of the birthday of one of Nollywood's greatest icon Fathia Williams. The lady who is known to have made her mark in the Nigerian movie industry is 50 years old!
Fathia who has every reason to be grateful due to how far she has come took to celebrating herself in a grand way. This she did by sharing some photos of herself on her Instagram page.
Despite her age, Fathia Williams looks very young spirited and beautiful. Her fair-skinned body which had always been her highlight during her hay days still shines and radiates nicely.
The grateful Nollywood veteran wore beautiful dresses and posed in flashy, elaborate ways which made her look even more younger than her new age. In celebrating herself, the screen goddess also wrote some catchy, lovely captions.
In one of the captions, she expressed pure joy for having clocked a new year. She also appreciated many for being there for her through out her years of existence.
She said: "That awesome feeling of seeing another year. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! S/O to everyone of you for the love and support so far.. it’s yet another year, join me and celebrate."

The amazing Fathia Williams was born on February 1969 at Ukwara, Waterside local government area of Delta State, southern Nigeria. Hers was a polygamous family of nine children.
Fathia attended Maryland Primary School and Maryland Comprehensive High School in Lagos state where she obtained the West African School Certificate before going forward to Kwara State Polytechnic where she received a diploma certificate.
The actress started her career as an actress at an early age. Professionally, she has starred, produced and directed several Nigerian films over the years. During the early period of her career, Fathia got married to Saheed Balogun. They went on to have three children. However, the marriage later crashed.

Recently, Fathia Williams and her ex-husband Saheed Balogun took to celebrating as their son graduated from secondary school. The duo were full of joy for his educational advancement.
