Cristiano Ronaldo has been locked in discussions with Colombian star James Rodriguez over the possibility of joining him at Serie A champions Juventus.

According to Spanish news newspaper Marca, the pair were close pals at Los Blancos during Ronaldo’s stay spell at Real Madrid, but are likely to reunite in the summer when Rodriguez’s loan deal at Bayern Munich ends.

Ronaldo is enjoying his game in the Italian topflight with Juventus after arriving at the end of 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

And Rodriguez could now be set to follow in the Portuguese’s path when he returns to the Bernabeu at the end of the season.

The report further revealed that Real Madrid are plotting a move Paulo Dybala as the new No. 10 for Los Blancos.

A move that will free Rodriguez to try out the Italian topflight after failing to impress as expected in the Bundesliga.

Interestingly, a switch to Juventus could also set in motion other deals, with Real hunting for quality signings in the coming window.

At the moment, Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard, who is expected to run out of contract in 2020 is tipped as Los Blancos’ main target in the summer.

Chelsea are expected to have the duo of under-fire playmaker Isco and current loan midfielder Mateo Kovacic in return.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez is on war path with her family member after being branded "shameless" for not informing relatives that her father was critically sick.

According to a Mirror report, Rodriguez's dad, Jorge Eduardo, gave up the ghost in Argentina on January 31, at 70 after a protracted illness.
