Talented 10-year-old Ghanaian girl gets recognized by Jay-Z's company

Ghana’s youngest DJ, Erica Tandoh, popularly known as DJ switch, is currently in the spotlight again after she was celebrated by Jay Z’s Roc Nation.

Legit.ng has sighted a Twitter post by the American entertainment firm in which they celebrated the young DJ.

In the post, Jay Z’s company said it was celebrating DJ Switch as part of their Black History Month celebration this year.

Today we honor DJ Erica Tandoh, @djswitchghana, a 10 yr old who is the youngest recipient to win the Ghana DJ Awards. She gets everyone on their feet dancing & in a good mood. “I picked the name DJ Switch because I switch up people's happiness" - Erica Tandoh. #BlackHistoryMonth,” the tweet read.

The young celebrity shot to fame when she won the 2017 edition of TV3’s Talented Kids.

She became the youngest recipient at the Ghana DJ Awards when she won the Discovery DJ of the year award last year.

Since then, DJ Switch has not looked back since, as she has been attending several international programmes.

Legit.ng last year reported how DJ Switch joined Goalkeepers 2018 in USA.

At the event, she performed for dignitaries like French president, Emmanuel Macron and Bill Gates.

Meanwhile, a 19-year-old man identified as David Imoh Umoette reportedly became the youngest Nigerian to ever fly the American Squadron Flight 331. The young man is an officer in the American Air Force.
