A Nigerian man has taken to social media to share a rule he would live by as a parent. The man identified as Kabir Shema revealed what he would do if his daughter gets beaten by her boyfriend when he starts his own family.
The young man shared a tweet, saying that if his daughter goes to her boyfriend's place and the boy beats her up, he would do nothing about it.
According to him, he is not trying to disrespect other people's parents. He asked people to go back to their mothers and ask what they would do to them if something like that happens to them.
He wrote: "I DONT CARE WHAT YOU PEOPLE WOULD THINK OF ME. IF MY DAUGHTER VISITS HER BOYFRIEND AND HE BEATS HER. NOBODY WILL DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. YA DAKI BANZA WLH."
"Last time i will talk about this stupid topic. I don’t mean to disrespect any parent or anyone.
Ask your mothers if you visit your boyfriend’s house and he beats you what would they do? Come back and drop your replies. I want to see something. NO DISRESPECT. THANKS."

After he shared his thoughts on parenting, Twitter users reacted to his post. Many were against the believes of the young man, they stated that he was saying so because he does not have a daughter.
Others, however, agreed with Shema saying that the daughter should even be dealt with for going to a man's house.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that a lady who is an actress had been abused by her boyfriend. The South African actress had been beaten blue black by her boyfriend after she kissed a man while acting a stage play.
