Manchester City on Sunday, February 3, returned to second position on the Premier League standings after beating Arsenal 3-1 at the Etihad stadium.

It was a good day for Argentine striker Sergio Aguero in the office as he scored three goals against the North London club.

Sergio Aguero netted his first goal in the first minute of the game when Alex Iwobi made a mistake by passing the ball straight to Laporte deep on the left who then provided a dangerous cross for unmarked Aguero to head past Leno.

Aguero gave Manchester City the lead again before the first half break when Englishman Raheem Sterling provided superb assist for him to score in the 44th minute.

He then grabbed his hat-trick in the 61st minute when Raheem Sterling again supplied a dangerous pass and Aguero appeared to have handled the ball, but the referee ignored despite appeal from Arsenal players.

Manchester City have now reduced Liverpool's lead on the Premier League standings to two points with Jurgen Klopp's men playing on Monday night against West Ham.
