Phil Foden, Manchester City youngster, has emerged the youngest father in the Premier League at just 18.
According to a UK Sun report, Foden, who is rated as one of England’s emerging talents welcomed a baby- boy with his 18-year-old girlfriend Rebecca Cooke.
Although, Foden lives with bought his parents - Phil Snr and Claire in the £2m house he bought recently, Rebecca lives separately with her mum.
“Phil’s delighted about the baby and giving every support to Rebecca and their kid. She’s a few months younger and they have known each other a long time.
“Phil used to put loads of pictures on social media of him and Rebecca. That stopped when he started getting near City’s first team.
“He has to concentrate on football. He may be a bit young to do that and set up home with Becca. But she and their baby will want for nothing,” a close source was quoted as saying.
Interestingly, Foden was excited over his birth that he uploaded images of him, clad in a Man City blanket alongside teddy and balloons.

At the last count, Foden, who signed for City at eight grabbed his first-team debut after nine years in November 2017.
In addition, moments before his 18th birthday anniversary, Foden emerged the youngest Premier League winner’s medal recipient.
And he celebrated his first goal for the Citizens in a 3-0 bashing of League One Oxford in a Carabao Cup clash in September 2018.
Foden, who also represent England at U21 level reportedly informed his manager at City Pep Guardiola about his baby-boy, who is less than two weeks old.
Surprisingly, during The Sun’s visit to Rebecca at her mum’s home, she was talking with Foden via FaceTime as she revealed the identity of his son’s father.
“This is the dad. His manager knows,” she said, even as he waved off further questions.
Foden is expected to file out with his City’s mates against Arsenal in today’s Premier League cracker at Etihad.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that England youngster Phil Foden has penned a new six-year deal at Manchester City valued at £30,000-a-week.
According to a UK Daily Mail report, the contract signed by the 18-year-old forward on Monday, December 10, will see him remain at the Etihad until 2024, after graduating from the club’s academy.
